Dr. Sacred A. Bodison Award Fund
Dreamkeepers Emergency Financial Assistance Scholarship Fund
The Dreamkeepers Emergency Financial Assistance program at the University of Maryland is designed to help students avoid dropping out of school when faced with unforeseen financial difficulties. Dreamkeepers can help ease student worries about housing, food and utilities, tuition and books, transportation, and childcare and medical needs, allowing students faced with sudden financial obstacles to focus their energy on education.
Drury G. Bagwell Omicron Delta Kappa Lecture Fund
Established by former Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs and beloved ODK Faculty Secretary, Drury G. “Dru” Bagwell, gifts to this account support an annual distinguished lecture.
Edward and Janet Friedson Memorial Veterans Scholarship
Established in 2010 by Edward and Janet Friedson’s family members, The Edward and Janet Friedson Memorial Veterans Scholarship, provides financial assistance to an undergraduate or graduate student who is a veteran, active duty member or a reservist of the U.S. military, demonstrates financial need, and either exhibits positive career ambitions or displays leadership and service to others in the community.
Eisen Family Internship Scholarship Endowment
The David and Amy Eisen Family Internship Scholarship was established by David and Amy Eisen to assist undergraduate students participating in unpaid or low-pay internships through the University Career Center & President’s Promise Bright Futures Initiative.
