Stamp Student Union
The Stamp offers professional development through their continued development series during staff meetings, an interactive Annual August Orientation, a comprehensive online new hire training and in-unit hands-on trainings throughout the academic year.
Conferences & Visitor Services
C&VS student staff receive professional development opportunities, management experience, training in the areas of customer service, conflict resolution, and the ability to engage with several campus departments and staff in a para-professional manner.
Dining Services
Dining Services develops, supports and celebrates team members through training, mentoring and recognition programs. They offer a variety of positions in direct food service and opportunities for increased responsibility and promotions.
Resident Life
Resident Life offers a number of student employment opportunities, including Resident Assistants, Community Assistants and Program Assistants. Student employees will have active engagement and mentoring with highly involved supervisors and regular individual and staff meetings.
Residential Facilities
Residential Facilities provides office and administrative experience along with customer service and communication skill development. Student positions include service center staff, inventory crew, office assistants and project manager assistants.
Career Center
The Career Center offers a variety of positions including Front Desk Assistant, Peer Career Educators, Marketing/Event Assistants, and more. All student staff are provided training, mentoring, the opportunity to meet and interact with employers and assistance with personal goal setting.
Recreation & Wellness
University Recreation & Wellness is one of the largest student employers on campus. Student staff develop important career and personal skills, meet new people and support the entire UMD community by encouraging all to be active and live well.
