Below is a complete list of all the scholarships, awards, prizes and programmatic funds that need your support within the Division of Student Affairs.

Fostering Terp Success Program Fund
The Fostering Terp Success Program Fund supports the purchase of necessities most students take for granted, such as public transportation, school supplies, and personal hygiene products. In addition, this fund supports Terp Success Program Initiatives, including student mentoring, faculty/staff training sessions, and additional outreach to support students in need.
Fostering Terp Success Scholarship Fund
The Fostering Terp Success Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to students who are/were in foster care, students who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, and students who are without a supportive family system. The Fostering Success Program provides the resources and support necessary to help our students succeed at the University of Maryland. Gifts to this fund will support the current use scholarship; if this fund reaches the endowment level, the funds will be transferred to the endowment fund.
Frank and Janice Cirillo Endowed Scholarship for Veterans
The Frank and Janice Cirillo Endowed Scholarship for Veterans was established by Frank '66 and Jan '66 to provide support for veterans with a preference for students enrolled in the A. James Clark School of Engineering.
Freeman Butler Endowed Scholarship for the Student Success Initiative
The Freeman Butler Scholarship for the Student Success Initiative was established in 2022 by Ivey Freeman Butler '94. The fund provides merit-based scholarships for undergraduate students who are involved with the Student Success Initiative, a student-led program that empowers the Black student population academically, financially, and professionally. Recipients will demonstrate a commitment to the Black community through their leadership and/or involvement.Friends of Marsha Guenzler-Stevens
The Friends of Marsha Guenzler-Stevens Garden of Reflection and Remembrance Fund was established to name a significant element of the Garden in honor of Marsha Guenzler-Stevens, director of the Adele H. Stamp Student Union Center for Campus Life and dedicated member of the UM family for almost 30 years. A gift to the Friends of Marsha Guenzler-Stevens Garden Fund recognizes and celebrates her work as the firesoul that brought this Garden to life.
