  • Food Recovery Network Fund

The Food Recovery Network (FRN) is a network of student groups and individuals at UMD volunteering to recover the surplus food from the dining halls and sports games and donate it to hungry men, women and children in the DC area. Reducing food waste and providing for our neighbors makes our whole community stronger.

  • Fostering Terp Success Program Fund

The Fostering Terp Success Program Fund supports the purchase of necessities most students take for granted, such as public transportation, school supplies, and personal hygiene products. In addition, this fund supports Terp Success Program Initiatives, including student mentoring, faculty/staff training sessions, and additional outreach to support students in need.

  • Fostering Terp Success Scholarship Fund

The Fostering Terp Success Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to students who are/were in foster care, students who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, and students who are without a supportive family system. The Fostering Success Program provides the resources and support necessary to help our students succeed at the University of Maryland. Gifts to this fund will support the current use scholarship; if this fund reaches the endowment level, the funds will be transferred to the endowment fund.
