Jack Godfrey Memorial Scholarship
The Jack Godfrey Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 2014 by Jack’s family in order to help create educational opportunities for University of Maryland students who demonstrate a passion for learning and interest in creative writing.
Jahanvi Desai Memorial Endowed Scholarship
The Jahanvi Desai Memorial Scholarship aims to honor the creative, independent spirit and love of learning that Jahanvi Desai (’03) embraced as a UMD undergraduate student and beyond in her career and life.Janet Remington Memorial Student Health Services Endowment
The Janet Remington Memorial Student Health Services Endowment provides health services, through the University Health Center, to support students suffering from eating disorders and/or from physical or emotional abuse.
Janice L. Atwood Veterans Endowed Scholarship
The Janice L. Atwood Veterans Endowed Scholarship was established in 2017 in order to provide critical support to University of Maryland veteran students.
John Connolly Memorial Sailing Team Scholarship Fund
The John Connolly Memorial Sailing Team Scholarship was established in August of 2014 in memory of John by his family and friends. John Connolly ’71 was a leader on campus and an active member of the University of Maryland Sailing Team. He spent much of his life teaching advanced sailing courses around the world and fostered a love of sailing in many of those who learned from him. This Scholarship will support students who are active on the University of Maryland Sailing Team and demonstrate academic merit and financial need.
