Below is a complete list of all the scholarships, awards, prizes and programmatic funds that need your support within the Division of Student Affairs.

  • Latine Student Advocacy Scholarship

    The Latine Student Advocacy Scholarship was established by University of Maryland alumni to provide scholarship support for students who participate in programs and initiatives that benefit the Latine student community.

  • Laura and Juris Kauls Veterans Endowed Scholarship

    The Laura and Juris Kauls Veterans Endowed Scholarship was established by Laura and Juris in 2016. The fund provides scholarship support to student veterans or active duty service members at the University of Maryland.

  • Lee Spann, Jr. Resident Assistant Scholarship Fund

    The Lee Spann, Jr. Resident Assistant Scholarship was established in December 2013 in memory of Lee, who was not only a successful collegiate athlete but also served as a Resident Assistant on the 7th floor of Ellicott Hall. The purpose of this scholarship is to support students who are Resident Assistants who also demonstrate financial need.

  • Leonard A. Riggs Current-Use Scholarship

    The Leonard A. Riggs Current-Use Scholarship, established in 2024 by Chris Riggs ’16, honors the legacy of his father, Leonard "Lenny" Riggs. As the son of Jamaican immigrants, Lenny understood the transformative power of education in achieving economic and social mobility. Through this scholarship, Chris aims to continue his father’s legacy by supporting students who share a similar dedication to education, easing the financial burden faced by both students and their families, and helping them pursue their academic dreams.
  • LGBT Advocacy Scholarship Fund

    The LGBT Advocacy Scholarship was established by University of Maryland alumni to provide scholarship support for students who demonstrate financial need and commitment to the LGBT community.
