About the Student Entertainment Events Operating Fund

The Student Entertainment Events (SEE) Operating Fund provides programmatic support for shows and events planned and organized by the SEE Offices and staff.

Student Entertainment Events (SEE) is the principal student programming board responsible for producing and supporting campus events that entertain, enhance, and inspire a diverse campus culture.  SEE organizes events including concerts, comedy shows, cinema screenings, lectures, performing arts performances, and more for 35,000+ individuals on the UMD campus.  SEE is comprised of a group of selected undergraduate students who work alongside an advisory team, as well as specific groups of students, in the creation, promotion, and operation of campus events.  As the university’s main student programming body, SEE’s programming emphasizes its mission of service to the campus community and to the Stamp Student Union in particular.  In fulfilling these responsibilities, SEE considers the diverse and broad-based interests of the campus community.
