About The Senior Class

The University of Maryland Senior Council seeks to provide seniors at the University of Maryland with a fun-filled, educational, and unforgettable final year of undergraduate studies.

About The Fund

The 2015 Senior Class established this scholarship to support future University of Maryland Seniors as they work to complete their studies and graduate. Seniors with financial need are encouraged to apply.

Meet Our Scholars

Randy Verduguez

Randy Verduguez is a proud, first-generation son of Bolivian and Peruvian immigrants. He is a rising junior studying Computer Science. He lives with his older sister and mother in Silver Spring, their hometown. His hobbies are soccer, reading, and hiking. He plays soccer every week. He mainly reads fictional books (but doesn't mind a good biography). This summer, he hiked Baldface Mt. in New Hampshire and Old Rag Mt. at Shenandoah National Park.
