About the Mitchell Family Endowed Scholarship for Veteran Student Life
It is with great pride that SSG (Ret.) Stephanie Mitchell established the Mitchell Family Endowed Scholarship for Veteran Student Life. Through this scholarship, Stephanie honors the sacrifices made by her family of veterans, ensuring their legacy of service is passed down to future generations.
About the Mitchell Family Veterans
Among some of the Mitchell family veterans are cousins Michael Mitchell, Cody Cob, and Marcus Davis; aunt Carla Smith-Mitchell, an admin. specialist and military police; uncles Clinton Mitchell Jr., military police, Kent Mitchell, combat medic and military police, and Curtis Perry. Stephanie’s grandparents — Linwood Tyson, a U.S. Navy veteran, and Rudolph and Clinton Mitchell, both U.S. Army veterans — also inspire her commitment to service.
