About the Fund
Our daughter, Kayley Milor ’22, loved life at the University of Maryland and was set to graduate from the School of Public Health. To honor her life and legacy this scholarship will provide financial support to hard-working and highly motivated students who embody Kayley’s spirit of leadership and dedication to helping others.

The Kayley Milor Memorial Endowed Scholarship provides support for undergraduate students who demonstrate a commitment to leadership and community engagement within a student organization. Preference is given to students enrolled in the School of Public Health. Scholarship applications are accepted every year in the late Spring semester.

Cerena is a first-generation Cameroonian American majoring in public health science and on the pre-dental track. She loves to give back to her community by volunteering in health initiatives and mentoring younger students. She's also active in cultural student groups like African Students United for Progress and Kappa Lambda Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc., where she's taken on leadership roles.

Past Scholars
Haleemat Adenuga '26 (2024-2025 Scholar)
Haleemat Adenuga is a current junior majoring in family science and hoping to become a family and couple therapist or counselor. She’s the current Public Health Beyond Borders Kenya Club project leader and a supervisor at one of UMD's RecWell facilities. Haleemat also served as a peer mentor last year and will do so again this upcoming year for the Global Public Health Program, as well as serve on the School of Public Health Dean's Undergraduate Student Advisory Council.
Amanda Catipon '24 (2023-2024 Scholar)
Amanda Catipon is a rising senior at the University of Maryland, College Park majoring in community health science in the School of Public Health. She is an honor student interested in public health research pertaining to nursing and preventing global infectious diseases. Amanda shows leadership in the community as she is a Resident Assistant in South Campus Commons 7 and part of Best Buddies. Amanda hopes to continue public health in the aspect of nursing in the future to become a nurse practitioner.
Gabynelle Pride Kwekam '23 (2022-2023 Scholar)
Gabynelle Pride is a dedicated student at the University of Maryland, pursuing a double major in Public Health Science and Information Science along with a minor in Technology Entrepreneurship. With a passion for healthcare and technology, she aspires to become a project manager in this field. She is also the President of the Kappa Phi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, where she leads her fellow members in various community service projects. In her spare time, Gabynelle Pride enjoys practicing makeup artistry, spending time outdoors, and diving into a good book.
