William Kiyota

2022 Scholar

William Kiyota enlisted in the US Army in 2016 where he served 4 years on active duty as a combat medic specialist. On active duty, William was promoted ahead of peers to the rank of Sergeant, non-commissioned officer. After fulfilling his active duty contract, William decided to pursue a full-time education in criminal justice as well as continuing to serve in the DC Army National Guard Reserves. He plans to use his education to continue to serve the country and his community in a law enforcement capacity upon graduation.
