Shira Huebner

2024 Scholar

Shira Huebner just completed her sophomore year studying psychology and minoring in creative writing. She hopes to pursue a doctoral degree in psychology and to become a child psychologist. Shira is currently a research assistant in the Big Emotion Across Development Lab, where she uses behavioral coding to improve the identification of youth at risk for emotional disorders. She is also a peer counselor for Lean On Me, the student-led emotional support line for undergraduates. Recently, Shira took on greater responsibility, and  now helps mentor new trainees.
