Roger Perez

2025-2026 Scholar

Roger is a proud double Terp, currently pursuing his MBA at the University of Maryland. He earned his undergraduate degree in aerospace engineering, with a minor in nuclear engineering, in May 2017.

In 2018, Roger commissioned as a surface warfare officer through Officer Candidate School in the U.S. Navy, completing two tours aboard Arleigh Burke-class destroyers. After separating from the Navy in 2022, Roger began his civilian career as an aerospace systems engineer at CACI International. He now serves as a senior principal core systems engineer at Northrop Grumman, where he leverages his military experience and technical expertise to support critical aerospace and defense programs.
