Rachel Greenberg

2020-2021 Newcombe Scholar

I am originally from the D.C area but lived abroad in Europe for many years. Upon returning to my native place with my five children in tow, I decided to create a new narrative. As an adult learner, I enrolled at my community college and began taking classes to become a dietician. In the fall of 2019, I transferred to the University of Maryland to further my studies. I am now in my junior year.

I work as a personal trainer, helping clients achieve their health goals. I use the platform of fitness to help influence clients to make healthy choices to help fuel their bodies. Our output is only as good as our input.

I practice an active lifestyle. During my free time, I enjoy heavy weight lifting and cycling. However, food is my passion. I enjoy cooking and baking, experimenting with new flavors and aromas.
