Piper Jackson

2025 Scholar

Piper Jackson attended UMD for undergrad and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy in Spring 2024. During her undergraduate experience, Piper held several leadership positions and internships, including serving as the President of the largest women-identifying student group, the Panhellenic Association, and having a Congressional Internship. Upon graduating, Piper received awards recognizing her impact on the campus community, namely through initiatives to reduce financial barriers in greek life, advocate for survivors of sexual assault and power-based violence, and apply her public policy knowledge to meaningful early career opportunities. These awards included serving as the Public Policy Senior Marshall, being recognized as Greek Leader of the Year, and being inducted into the Maryland Medallion Society. As a plus-one graduate student, Piper interns for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency through the federal Pathways Program.
