Hi, my name, is Nguyet Nguyen and I am a senior majoring in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education. I was born in Vietnam but immigrated to the United States when I was a toddler. My college journey started eight years ago at Montgomery College in Rockville, MD where I received my Associates Degree in the Arts of Teaching. Although my college journey has taken longer than most, I am so proud of my accomplishments thus far and I canât wait to graduate and start my new journey as an educator. Growing up I have always wanted to be an Early Childhood teacher, I want my classroom to be a place where children can reach their full potential without the stress of circumstances outside of their control. I want to be the one who will inspire them. The one to uncover their hidden potential, ingrain in them the significance of their words and actions, and teach them to embrace the individual inside of them that has ideas, strengths and beauty like no one else.
