Morgan Phillips

2025 Scholar

Morgan Phillips recently transferred to Maryland from the University of Connecticut. The Fall 2024 semester was her first and Morgan jumped feet first into several organizations. She was able to become DEI coordinator in the Association for Black Public Health Scholars, transferred her membership to the local Red Cross Chapter, and even joined a club called Crochet for a Cause, where she was able to meet others with the similar hobby for crochet. Along with that, at the end of the semester Morgan achieved a GPA of 3.7. All the while she made connections with other transfer students like herself, finding a community within a small community. Morgan is beyond grateful for the opportunity to transfer to become a Terrapin and can't wait to see what she does next.
