“As a Zero Waste Intern, I work closely with the department’s
Volunteer Coordinator and the Zero Waste Circle to facilitate
actions to eliminate the amount of waste that goes to landfills.
Promoting recycling and composting, along with educational
efforts, legislative advocacy, and partnering with local
businesses and organizations help achieve this.”
