Liv Brady

2019-2020 Scholar

When I received a call from Laura Cross, offering me a position, I was beyond ecstatic. From that moment I found a group of people who became a second family to me; I found people who celebrate each other's accomplishments and support each other during tough times. I first joined to find an outlet for my creativity and passion for event planning, but in my involvement, I have gotten so much more out of SEE. SEE has provided me with a strong support system, resources to better my education, and transferable skills applicable for any industry as well as so much more.  The time I dedicate to SEE and it's members never feels wasted. Throughout my average week on campus, I find myself in the SEE office nearly every day. Whether I am preparing the hospitality cart for an event, filling out I.S.R. forms, or just talking to whoever may be present, I always feel at home, and I will always try to make other directors and members feel the same. Throughout my three years in SEE, I have grown as a director, a student, and a friend. I have pushed myself to innovate within my various positions and not allow precedents to restrict my creativity.
