Kate Blanch

Director, Data Services and Analytics

Kate Blanch serves as the Director of Data Services and Analytics for the Division of Student Affairs. She provides direction, administration and support for systems that aid in the processing and communication of information and data. In support of the division, Kate serves on various technology committees and provides support for special projects, with a focus on data management and business intelligence. 

Kate brings over 15 years of experience as a data analyst, database developer and systems administrator to the Division of Student Affairs team, with extensive experience in the environmental non-profit, museum and cultural heritage sectors. A graduate of Parsons School of Design, she has certifications in SQL, RDF and Linked Open Data and is pursuing graduate studies in data science here at Maryland.
