Julia Raimondi
Julia Raimondi has had a transformative experience at the University of Maryland, where she has embraced numerous opportunities that have shaped her personal and professional growth. One of her most significant experiences was joining a sorority during her freshman year, which provided her with various leadership roles and valuable skills. She served as the Homecoming Chair and Junior PHA Representative for her chapter, where she led a semester-long project focused on enhancing the Greek life community. Her most challenging and rewarding role was serving as the Officer of Chapter Culture during her sophomore and junior years. In this position, Julia collaborated closely with the Risk Chair to maximize their impact, and one of her key contributions was developing a system with her Vice President to show appreciation for seniors by reducing their attendance requirements and recognizing their efforts.
Academically, Julia has managed a full course load each semester while also completing three internships over the past three years. Her first internship was through the Maryland Federal Fellows program, which she was accepted into during her freshman year. She interned as a research intern at the Partnership for Public Service during the fall semester. The following summer, she worked as a research intern at the Maryland League of Conservation Voters. Most recently, Julia interned at The Public Consulting Group in the Human Services department, where her role as a research intern was extended through the academic year.
