Jose Githens

Jose Githens is an 8 year Veteran of the US Army with two deployments - one to Iraq and another to Kuwait. A Maryland native, Jose received the Army Commendation Medal and the Army Achievement Medal among others. He is married with a young daughter, he is working on an undergraduate degree in Physics and expects to graduate in May 2018. He hopes to continue his education in the field of engineering eventually earning a terminal degree. He volunteers at his daughter's school and is a member of the Physics Society on campus.
