Jillian Siegel

2021-2022 Scholar

Jillian is pursuing a major in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a concentration in Water Resources and Environment and a minor in Sustainability Studies. Post-graduation, she hopes to enter the workforce as a construction project manager or an environmental/civil engineering consultant. Jillian has excelled in her academic endeavors, earning Dean's list recognition for multiple semesters, and credits her extracurricular activities as having a significant impact on her passion for the environment and raising her interest in sustainable practices. She is the Water Team leader of Nakifuma, Uganda Engineers without Borders Chapter and is involved in many honors programs such as University Honors College, Chi Epsilon (a national civil engineering honors society) and Alpha Lambda Delta (an honors coed fraternity on campus). She also has held positions in Alpha Xi Delta (a social sorority), serving as a member of Honor Board, assuming the position of Programming Director, and serving on the sorority's executive board as Panhellenic Delegate. Through these organizations, she has connected and bonded with people of a similar nature and drive.
