Jannet Fernandez

2022 - 2023 Scholar

Jannet Fernandez is a English Language and Literature major whose track choice is focused on Literary and Cultural Studies. She is also minoring in both Creative Writing (focused on Fiction Writing) and Philosophy. After completing her Associate’s Degree in General Studies from Montgomery College, she transferred to the University of Maryland to complete her B.A. degree in English. Her hopes for the future is to continue her education by attending graduate school and to publish a fiction novel. She also hopes to serve as a reminder to other returning adult students that it is never too late to return to college as she will be completing her first’s Bachelor’s degree by 34 year’s old.
