Hai- Minh “Tom” Nguyen, and he is pursuing a graduate degree in Operations Management and Business Analytics at the Robert H. Smith School of Business. Growing up in Hanoi, Vietnam, Tom developed a passion for using data analytics to improve operational efficiencies and make retail environments more accessible. At Maryland, Tom has been actively involved in the Smith Undergraduate Student Association (SUSA) and Operations bU where he’s taken on leadership roles and worked on initiatives that celebrate diversity and enhance student experiences.
