Eileen Chen

2025-2026 Scholar

Eileen Chen is a Finance and Information Systems dual degree student at the Smith School of Business. Since arriving at UMD, she has taken on leadership roles across campus—as President of both the Women in Business Association and her professional business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi, a Smith Ambassador, a member of the Dean's Student Advisory Council, and an intern for multiple campus offices. Eileen is also a proud alum of the Public Leadership program within College Park Scholars, where she has served as a Peer Mentor, Communications Intern, and the representative for her program on the Scholars Advisory Board. Her Scholars experience played a foundational role in shaping her leadership journey and sparked her interest in social impact work. Her academic and extracurricular experiences have shaped her into a values-driven leader passionate about mentorship, social impact, and creating inclusive spaces.
