2024 Scholar

Denesha Peoples is a Cell Biology and Genetics major aspiring to be a genetic counselor. She is a part of the Pre Society of Genetic Counseling Club here at UMD. This club allows her to learn more about her future profession and network with students with similar goals and genetic counselors.  Denesha also works at 4work which is an on campus job that helps students with any maintenance issue they may encounter in the dorms. She is a part of Alternative Breaks which allows her to help communities in need to help produce change.
