Colton Treadway

A returning Richards Veterans scholar, Colton Treadway spent four years in the Marine Corps with two deployments — one to Afghanistan and one to Iraq. He received a Combat Action Ribbon and a Navy Unit Commendation medal among others. He is a Maryland native who is working on a double Bachelor’s degree in Physics and Chemistry and carries a 3.67 GPA. He will graduate in December 2019 and plans to go to medical school. He is a volunteer EMT for a local fire department and is an undergraduate Research Assistant. Colton recently won a competition that resulted in his experiment being included on the International Space Station leaving in August. He is also working on biophysics research in the Upadhyaya Lab.
