Chris Riggs

Chris Riggs

Chris Riggs is an investment professional with more than a decade of experience across public and private markets. He currently serves as an Investment Analyst at Maven Securities, a global hedge fund, on the firm’s multi-strategy discretionary investment team. 

Chris began his career as a Trader at Bank of America Merrill Lynch before joining Citadel as an Investment Analyst. He subsequently joined Flow State Investments, an event-driven hedge fund, as a Senior Investment Analyst focused on equity capital markets.

Chris earned an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a B.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.

Outside of his professional career, Chris loves traveling with his wife and is passionate about mentorship, financial education, and expanding access to careers in finance. He serves on the board of Midori & Friends, a nonprofit providing music education to students throughout New York City and enjoys playing tennis, basketball, and writing about financial markets.
