Chioma Ahaghoto

2019-2020 Scholar

Chioma Ahaghotu was born and raised in Prince George's County, Maryland. She's currently a Sociology and Communication, Public Relation double majors here at the University of Maryland. When she has some free time, she enjoys hiking, writing, listening to music, and getting involved in this area. She was a part of RHA as Vice President of Marketing and Communication, a journalist for the black explosion newspaper and a tutor assistant for AAP. She previously interned at ABC7 - WJLA. She loves the life of the news world. After finishing up her internship and obtaining her bachelor's degree, she aims to land a news reporting job. She hopes to use her writing and communicating skills to uncover stories and share groundbreaking news to the public as a news anchor.
