Boosaba (she/her) joined the Division of Student Affairs’ Office of Development and External Relations team in 2023. In this role, she leverages her experience as a proud Terp and UMD scholarship recipient. With nearly fifteen years of nonprofit and higher education development experience, she helps alumni and friends find a variety of meaningful ways to support UMD students, whether that is through establishing scholarships, sustaining programs, or providing critical funding for students' essential needs.
Prior to this role, Boosaba was responsible for the donor relations and stewardship program at the UMD College of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Science (CMNS). Her efforts were focused on retaining and inspiring donors to support CMNS to their fullest potential. This included launching the CMNS Dean’s Circle and ensuring that 700+ donor funds were utilized fully and according to donor intent year after year.
Boosaba earned a B.A. in Anthropology with a minor in Asian American Studies from UMD. In 2024, she completed the coursework for the Certificate of Nonprofit Management and Leadership, a program offered by the Do Good Institute at the School of Public Policy.
