Benjamin Johanson

Benjamin Johanson is a nine year veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Originally from California, Ben is a sophomore majoring in Astronomy with a 3.8 GPA. He has an Associate’s degree in Russian from the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California. He also has over 1,100 hours in specialized training in basic Pashto from the National Cryptologic School. He served a deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Ben is married with two children and when he isn’t studying, he volunteers as a local den leader for his son’s Cub Scout troop.
