Benjamin Bromley-Coolidge

2019 scholar

Benjamin Bromley-Coolidge is 29-year-old transfer student, planning to major in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Cell Biology and Genetics. He is currently a Junior at the University of Maryland – College Park. A native Californian, Benjamin moved to Maryland in 2016, after meeting his fiancé, Lauren. He enrolled at Montgomery College, graduating with a 4.0 GPA and an Associate Degree in Biological Sciences. While attending Montgomery College, Benjamin also trained and competed in multiple endurance events, and volunteered for LUNGevity foundation, and Little People of America. In October of 2018, he became the first person with dwarfism to complete the Marine Corps Marathon. He hopes that completing this challenge will raise positive awareness for people living with dwarfism.
