Ashley Qiao

2025 Scholar

Ashley is a freshman double-majoring in Business Management and Marketing. Additionally, she’s a part of the Business, Society, and Entrepreneurship Scholars Program. In collaboration with Under Armour, Professor Oliver Schlake, and her team, she’s pioneering a startup focused on repurposing textile waste (particularly spandex) into fashionable and marketable fashion products. For her current part-time position, she assists a former professor in producing a TV show interviewing influential professionals from all over the world. Doing so has made her passionate about leadership, project management, empowerment, and education, values which she brings into her projects. Someday, she hopes to create a system where students can get real-world experience more easily than ever before—plus, get paid while doing it.
