Ashlee Swanson

Ashlee is an electrical engineering student and a U.S. Navy veteran, where she first developed her passion for engineering as a cryptologic technician. At UMD, she works for Veteran Student Life and serves as president of TerpVets, where she supports and advocates for fellow student veterans. Her academic focus is on communication systems and how technology can improve access to information in underserved communities.
