Alesha Tyson

Alesha Tyson is a proud graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park (BA ’99). Shortly after earning her degree, she discovered a passion for higher education and a deep commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals. This passion has shaped her long-standing career at the University of Maryland Global Campus, where she has held multiple leadership roles within Student Affairs. She currently serves as the Senior Director of Student Resolution Services, guiding students through challenges and supporting their success.

Alesha is a dedicated member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, and is actively involved in community service. A longtime resident of Prince George’s County, Maryland, she is also an avid runner and outdoor enthusiast who finds joy and balance on the pavement and in nature.
