Abigail Escobar

2023-2024 Scholar

Abigail Escobar is a twenty-six-year-old native of El Paso, TX, a vibrant border city where she developed fluency in both English and Spanish. Growing up near the second-largest U.S. Army base in El Paso, she crossed paths with her now-husband David Escobar, a disabled veteran. Together, they are proud parents to two wonderful children, Avianna and Atreus Escobar, who ignited her passion to become a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist. Her children’s boundless energy and curiosity inspire her daily as Abigail works to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young speech and language learners.
