Current Scholarships & Funds

Below is a complete list of all the scholarships, awards, prizes and programmatic funds that need your support within the Division of Student Affairs.

If you would like more information on creating a scholarship or the differences between scholarship types, please visit our Scholarship FAQs page. Should you have any questions about supporting one of the existing funds or would like to discuss the establishment a new fund, please contact Ed Kenny.

  • Sigma Psi Zeta Scholarship Fund

The Sigma Psi Zeta Scholarship Fund provides annual scholarships for undergraduate University of Maryland students who are chapter members.

  • Stamp Student Employee Scholarship

The Stamp Student Union provides a number of opportunities for students to find meaningful employment, and to work diligently to make Stamp a warm and friendly place to visit. The increased financial burdens of attending the University, however, mean there are still gaps in meeting their academic expenses. With the help of past Stamp employees, this endowed scholarship will provide additional academic support for these hard-working students.

  • Stamp Student Union Art Purchase Program Fund

Every other year, five students are selected to serve on the Union Contemporary Art Purchasing Program Committee, research potential pieces, and travel to Washington, D.C., Baltimore and New York City to purchase art for the Union’s permanent collection. The selected pieces are showcased around the Adele H. Stamp Student Union, opening the eyes of students and community members to the varied perspectives and cultures of contemporary artists.

  • Student Affairs Alumni Group for Engagement (SAAGE)

The Student Affairs Alumni Group for Engagement (SAAGE) is a select group of University of Maryland alumni who demonstrate their commitment to the University and the Division of Student Affairs through their shared passion for ensuring that all students thrive. This commitment is evident through their lived experiences as UMD student leaders, their ability to provide thoughtful counsel to the Vice President through their leadership and stature, their ongoing philanthropic support to the Division, and active participation in the Student Affairs community.
