About Wes and Jo Ann Chin
Wesley '72 and Jo Ann '75 exemplify of what it means to be Loyal Terps. Both graduated from Maryland and their two sons are also alums. Their daughter is currently attending graduate school at Maryland. Knowing how important it is to give back to their school, Wes and Jo Ann have served on the Parent Advisory Council since 2006, became Lifetime members of the Alumni Association in 2009, and Jo Ann has been a member of Adeles Circle since 2013. Given their love for the University, and their determination to help future Terps for years to come, the Chins graciously decided to endow the Wes and Jo Ann Chin Endowed Scholarship which will provide awards each academic year.
About The Fund
The Wes and Jo Ann Chin Endowed Scholarship will support need-based scholarships for undergraduate students through the Maryland Parent and Family Association Scholarship process in the Division of Student Affairs. Recipients of the Wes and Jo Ann Chin Endowed Scholarship will be undergraduate students in good standing who have completed at least 24 credit hours.
