Esha Sheth
Esha Sheth’s time at Maryland has been a wonderful learning experience. She is double majoring in general biology and human development. She’s also involved in the Integrated Life Sciences Honors College. Some of her interests on campus include tutoring, research, and volunteering. As a tutor, Esha specifically helps UMD students with organic chemistry. In regards to research, she was a research assistant for a dissertation project regarding social justice in marriage and family therapists. She’s also currently a research assistant exploring emotions through brain MRI scans. Additionally, Esha enjoy volunteering through a UMD club called Terps for Change, where she volunteered to tutor reading to children and to help organize donations for the underserved. As a pre-med student valuing a sense of community, she is also involved with Phi Delta Epsilon, a co-ed undergraduate medical fraternity on campus. Outside of campus, Esha has been volunteering at my local doctors office, where she’s gained incredible experience working in a clinical setting.
