About The Littenberg Family

The Littenberg family consists of Abe, Linda, and Matthew. They started this scholarship in recognition of the lasting impact that the University of Maryland community has left on their family.

About The Fund

Through the generosity of the Littenberg Family, the Littenberg Family Scholarship Fund was established in 2013 to provide critical financial support for at least one junior or senior with a preference to students majoring in Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park who may be unable to continue their education at the University due to extenuating financial circumstances. Abe, Linda, and Matthew Littenberg started this scholarship in recognition of the lasting impact that the University of Maryland community has left on their family. Together the Littenberg family wanted to ensure that students pursuing advanced degrees had the support they needed to continue their studies and excel while at Maryland.
