Alexia Lazo Sorto

Alexia Lazo Sorto’s experience at Maryland has been a phenomenal one as an undergraduate student. With the many student lead clubs and organizations UMD has to offer,  Alexia has been able to get involved in many different places around campus. She is currently involved in Public Health Beyond Borders, Students Engaged in Public Health, and Maryland Cru. Starting this year Alexia will also be leading a bible study with other co-leaders for freshmen who are seeking community in faith. She hopes to pursue more Public Health opportunities during her time at Maryland and is very interested in pursuing a higher education in Epidemiology & Biostatistics.
