About the Fund

The First Command Family Scholarship was established as a partnership between First Command Educational Foundation and First Command Financial Services to support the men and women who have been engaged with service to the country through their own military service as a Veteran or active duty servicemember or through that of a dependent spouse or child. This scholarship helps to meet the needs that Veterans or active duty service members and their family have when they return to school to fulfill their educational dreams and goals.

The scholarship is open to Veterans from all branches of the military or their dependent spouse or children who are completing an undergraduate or graduate degree at the University of Maryland, College Park.
