Yuka Taguchi

Yula Taguchi is a senior at the University of Maryland, College Park studying Family Science in the School of Public Health. Though she has not been involved in extracurriculars within the University of Maryland, the education she has received has allowed her to have an internship at the Department of Labor. At the Department of Labor, Yula worked as an administrative and policy analysis intern within the National Office of Job Corps, a federally funded job training program for low-income youth ages 16 to 24 years old. With this opportunity, she was able to learn a lot about policy development, administrative tasks on a government level, and many other things.
