William Moreno Mendez

William Moreno is a second-year MBA student at the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, specializing in marketing and customer success. Throughout his time at Maryland, William has embraced leadership roles as the Vice President of Community Development on the MBA Board, organizing diversity and inclusion initiatives to foster a welcoming environment for all students.

William has also contributed as a Teaching Assistant, supporting academic excellence by leading classes and facilitating group discussions on topics like AI and marketing. Additionally, he’s been involved with the Latin American Club, raising funds for community-building events and supporting incoming international students.

Maryland has been a transformative experience for William, offering a platform to grow academically, professionally, and personally while being part of a supportive and vibrant community.
