Valerie Brown

Valerie Brown is a systems thinker by nature. After working in public health research at the University of Rochester and environmental health policy with a DC nonprofit, she returned to UMD, where she is currently a senior in the Department of Economics with an eye toward graduate school. Outside of classes, she volunteers as a technology trainer for civic group elders and designs websites for nascent women-owned businesses.
