To me, this award means relief. Going into this new semester, I didn't know how I would pay for the expenses. Everything would have been charged to my student account and pushed off until the end of the semester. This scholarship provides me with money that can be used to purchase books and other course materials and fees. It's a good feeling to be able to purchase supplies and know where the money is coming from.
