Thirein Kyaw

2024-2025 Scholar

Thirein Kyaw is currently a rising Senior and Psychology major at UMD. He’s currently a research assistant at the Developmental Social Cognitive Neuroscience Lab and has had the opportunity to present his research twice at research conferences. Thirein’s first research project was about examining the relationship between smiling, autism and social anxiety. His second research project was about how eye tracking data can be used to measure social anxiety within autistic and non-autistic individuals. Thirein is also a member of Psi Chi and is an office assistant at the David C. Driskell Center.
