Tamara Bethea is an Accounting and Information Systems senior simultaneously pursuing a business analytics degree through the plus-one program. During her time at the University of Maryland so far, she has served as the President of the Black Student Union, Vice President of the Black Business Association, a SmithStart Mentor, a member of the tenacious Theta Nu Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and completed four internships with companies to include Ernst and Young and BDO. In her personal life, she has a passion for mentoring, community building, and advocacy. She also loves to bake and has a business making custom dessert boxes!
