Talia Shemony

2020-2021 Scholar

Talia Shemony is a sophomore at the University of Maryland at College Park majoring in Criminology and Criminal Justice. With a cumulative GPA of 3.94, her studies include courses in international political relations, criminal law, and courts and sentencing, among other related areas, and she plans to attend law school upon graduation in 2023. She is a member of Alpha Epsilon Phi sorority, a University Fellow for the Israel on Campus Coalition, and participates in music and the arts in her spare time. She has worked as a camp counselor, interned for a local political campaign, and has been accepted into a summer 2021 policy internship focused on women’s equality, with an emphasis on anti-sexual harassment and protective labor legislation.
