Suham Borjas

2015 - 2018 Scholar

Suham Borjas is a U.S Marine Corps veteran who served both in Iraq and Afghanistan. Suham is currently a student in the Graduate Terrorism Analysis program at The Study for Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism at UMD. In conjunction with this program he continues to advance his study of the Arabic language. He advocates for student veterans as a Graduate Assistant with Veteran Student Life. He also performs community outreach by assisting those who face challenges due to language barriers.
